I’m so grateful for life today! Today is my birthday and there’s a lot to be thankful to God for.

Over the past 20+ years of my life, some days have been amazing whilst others were unpleasant.

However, through it all, I’ve still been able to breath, I can see with my two eyes, I can hear with my ears, I can smell with my nose, and I can walk with my head heald high (you get the point).

Today, I encourage you to focus on what you have rather than what you don’t have. God has blessed you with an abundance of gifts that you can use to glorify Him. So don’t worry about the barriers, instead, shift your attention to the world of opportunities you have because our limitless God has blessed you with the with countless gifts and abilities.

This week, I read a Bible plan about grand plans with a close friend and one of the days discussed the idea of starting small.

The writer expressed that we often have every excuse for why we can’t reach our goals. Many a time, it’s because we believe we’re not qualified, we don’t have enough money, or time. But what if we were looking at the wrong entry requirements to get started in the direction of our destiny? What if the requirement is simply to have faith?

Quoting from the Bible plan, it states, “If you’ve ever felt like you don’t really have enough to get started, you’re in good company. Moses also started out this way. Called to liberate Israel from under the tyranny and might of Pharaoh, all that Moses had at his disposal was a stick!

What Moses had was so small, it was laughable to think he could ever make a difference!

But if we track the story of Exodus, using just the stick in his hand, God caused Moses to be able to confront the sorcerers of Pharaoh’s court, work ten plagues, part the Red Sea, bring water from a dry rock and lead Israel to victory over their enemies.”

If God enabled Moses to accomplish His purpose with just a stick, then He definitely can use what you have (even if it is little) to accomplish His purpose for your life.

My prayer today is that we say no to the lies in our heads that tell us we’re insignificant, unqualified and unworthy, and say yes to the fact that we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.

Stay blessed x
